Overview
To Catch a Killer is a true crime episodic docudrama that premiered its first season on March 1, 2014. Produced for OWN Canada by Ocean Entertainment, the series features the genres of crime and documentary. The television program follows a squad of tech-savvy civilians and a team working under the guidance of criminologist, former detective, and professor Dr. Michael Arntfield, also referred to as Dr. Mike Arntfield.
In the series, the team uses advanced skills that include medical biophysics, private investigating, and twenty-first-century technology to try to solve longstanding mysteries, horrific cold cases, and unsolved murder cases, while attempting to give victims' families closure. In each episode, the team goes into the field in search of new leads by talking with family members, dissecting new and old evidence, and re-enacting the crimes in their quest to solve these longstanding mysteries. The cast and participants associated with the production include Michael Arntfield, Antonella Magnatta, Peter Leimbigler, and Renee Willmon.
