The Territory is a 2022 documentary film that provides an immersive look at the struggle of the Indigenous Uru-eu-wau-wau people in the Amazon. These challenges have intensified due to land-grabbing invasions encouraged by right-wing politicians, including former President Jair Bolsonaro. As deforestation escalates, the film highlights the global implications of these environmental threats. The cast of the documentary includes Bitaté Uru-Eu-Wau-Wau, Neidinha Bandeira, Ari Uru-Eu-Wau-Wau, and Txai Suruí. Released in the United States on August 19, 2022, the film has a runtime of one hour and twenty-five minutes.
