Overview
The Sentinel is a television series that aired in the United States from 1996 to 1999. It follows Detective Jim Ellison, whose heightened senses, developed during his time in the jungles of Peru, make him an exceptional law enforcement officer. He works alongside anthropologist Blair Sandburg, who assists him in understanding and managing his unique abilities. The show combines elements of action, thriller, and crime drama as the pair tackle various cases in their city. Produced in Vancouver, British Columbia, the series originally aired on UPN and later found a new audience when it was re-aired on Syfy. Over its four-season run, it accumulated a total of 65 episodes. The program was created by Danny Bilson and Paul De Meo and starred Richard Burgi and Garett Maggart in leading roles.
