The Rebel is an American Western television series that aired on the ABC network from 1959 to 1961. The series stars Nick Adams and consists of 76 episodes over 2 seasons. It was one of the few productions by Goodson-Todman outside of their game show ventures. The show follows a former Confederate Army private who roams the Wild West and gets involved in helping settlers threatened by bad guys. The Rebel was created by Nick Adams and Andrew J. Fenady and features a cast including Chuck Hamilton, Sid Troy, and Ross Sturlin. The series has been made available for viewing on various platforms, including Me-TV, YouTube, and Plex, with reruns beginning to air on Me-TV in December 2011.
