Overview
The Moving Forest is a 2015 drama and thriller film directed by Vinicius Coimbra. The movie is based on the play Macbeth by William Shakespeare. The story follows Elias, a successful executive employed at the second largest private bank in Brazil. His life changes after he encounters a mysterious woman who claims to possess the ability to predict his future. She tells Elias that he will be promoted to vice president that same day and will become president of the bank the following day. This prophecy sets a series of events in motion, leading Elias and his wife, Clara, to commit a succession of murders. As they pursue power, they leave a trail of blood behind them. Ultimately, the couple becomes both the executioners and the victims of their own destinies. The film, which has a runtime of one hour and thirty-nine minutes, was released in Brazil on November 12, 2015.
