The Legend of Heroes is a 2024 Chinese wuxia television series adapted from the martial arts novel by Louis Cha. Set during the late Southern Song Dynasty, the story follows the contrasting paths of Guo Jing and Yang Kang, two descendants trained in martial arts by Taoist Qiu Chuji and the Seven Freaks of Jiangnan. As the Jin forces invade, the Guo and Yang families face tragedy, shaping the young men's futures. Guo Jing grows up in the wilderness and develops a close relationship with Huang Rong, while Yang Kang's choices impact those around him. The series is divided into two parts, with the first 30 episodes titled "Hot Blooded." It premiered on June 17, 2024, and concluded on August 9, 2025, airing daily on Tencent Video. The show spans 60 episodes with a runtime of approximately 45 minutes per episode. It features an ensemble cast including Zhou Yiwei, Vengo Gao, and Chen Duling. The series was produced to commemorate the centenary of Louis Cha's birth.
