The Flash: Season 7

Season overview

The seventh season of The Flash begins in the immediate aftermath of a cliffhanger that left the antagonist Mirror Monarch victorious and at large within Central City. Barry Allen is tasked with regrouping his allies to confront this threat while simultaneously searching for a method to reconnect with his wife, Iris West-Allen, who remains missing. With the assistance of the rest of Team Flash, Barry eventually succeeds in defeating Mirror Master. However, the resolution of this conflict carries significant unintended consequences. The victory inadvertently unleashes a new, more powerful, and devastating threat upon Central City. This emerging danger poses a severe risk to the stability of the team and creates deep friction that threatens to tear Barry Allen’s marriage apart. As the season progresses, the narrative focuses on the fallout of these events and the struggle to maintain unity in the face of escalating peril. The season also features the introduction of the character Mark Blaine, also known as Chillblaine, who recurs throughout the season as part of the series' ongoing expansion of its cast and narrative scope, contributing to the challenges faced by Barry and his associates during this tumultuous period.
