Overview

The Fire Hunter is a television series that premiered in 2023. The story is set in a world where humanity is threatened by fiery beasts known as Flame Demons that exist outside of magical barriers. The only individuals capable of protecting human society from these creatures are the skilled trackers referred to as Fire Hunters. The narrative begins in the dark woods, where a young villager named Touko is rescued from an attack by a Fire Hunter named Koushi. Following the death of a Fire Hunter in her presence, Touko embarks on a treacherous journey toward the capital. This mission is driven by a need for redemption and carries the potential to alter the destiny of a destitute world. The series features voice performances by Yoshiko Sakakibara, Misaki Kuno, Shoya Ishige, and Sachi Kokuryu. The production, which spans the years 2023 to 2024, explores the consequences of the meeting between Touko and Koushi, suggesting that their encounter was not an accident.
