Overview

Taste of Vengeance is a 1968 Spaghetti Western film that was released in Italy on April 2, 1968. Also known by the titles Cowards Don't Pray, I vigliacchi non pregano, and El vengador del sur, the production was co-written and directed by Mario Siciliano, who worked under the pseudonym Marlon Sirko. The film has a runtime of one hour and fifty-nine minutes.

The plot follows a group of Northern vigilantes who roam the post-Civil War South. These men attack and kill the fiancee of a war veteran named Brian. After Brian is rescued by his friend Daniel, the two men join forces with a character named Robert to track down the killers. However, the mission becomes complicated because Brian suffers from amnesia. Frustrated by his inability to remember the faces of those who attacked his fiancee, Brian begins killing at random. This erratic behavior eventually leads to a loss of support from his two partners, Daniel and Robert, as they pursue their goal of vengeance.
