Overview
Set in the year 2242, Synduality: Noir is a Japanese anime television series produced by Eight Bit as part of the Bandai Namco Group's mixed-media project. The series aired from July 2023 to March 2024. In a post-apocalyptic world where humanity resides in isolated bubble cities to escape toxic rain and hostile creatures called Enders, a young man named Kanata aspires to become a Drifter. His path crosses with Noir, a mysterious girl who is a dud Magus and has no memories. Despite her background, Noir demonstrates exceptional skill in combat against the Enders, prompting Kanata to partner with her. Through their journey, Kanata learns what it truly means to be a Drifter. The show features character designs by Takeshi Takakura and music composed by Kevin Penkin. Voice actors include Erin Yvette, Ben Diskin, Aaron Dismuke, and Allegra Clark. The series is licensed for streaming and distribution in multiple regions.
