Sword of Vengeance 2015

Overview

Sword of Vengeance is a 2015 historical film that follows a Norman prince who returns to his homeland following years of slavery. The narrative centers on his quest to seek retribution against his father's murderer, a ruthless uncle named Earl Durant. Along his journey, the prince encounters a group of exiled farmers who are suffering under the oppression of a tyrant. He gains the trust of these individuals and leads them into battle against Durant. As the conflict progresses, the prince exploits the farmers, leading many of them to be slaughtered in his pursuit of blood. The film explores whether the protagonist will sacrifice everything and everyone around him to fulfill his personal code of honor and demand for vengeance. Directed by the creator of Hammer of the Gods, the production features actors Stanley Weber and Annabelle Wallis. The film has a runtime of one hour and twenty-six minutes and was released in Poland on June 7, 2015.
