Overview
Star vs. the Forces of Evil is an American animated magical girl television comedy series produced by Disney Television Animation. The show was created by Daron Nefcy and developed by Jordana Arkin and Dave Wasson. It originally aired on Disney Channel and Disney XD from March 30, 2015, until May 19, 2019. The series follows the intergalactic warrior Star Butterfly after she arrives on Earth to live with the Diaz family, who are described as a Mexican-American family. While navigating the challenges of high school, Star continues to battle villains from across the universe. Her primary objective is to protect her extremely powerful wand, an object that she often finds confusing. The voice cast for the series includes Eden Sher, Adam McArthur, Grey DeLisle, and Daron Nefcy.
