Star Trek: Enterprise is an American science fiction television series created by Rick Berman and Brannon Braga. The show served as the sixth series within the Star Trek franchise and originally aired on UPN from September 26, 2001, to May 13, 2005. During its first two seasons, the program was titled simply Enterprise. Set during the mid-22nd century, the narrative functions as a prequel to the broader franchise, taking place a century before the five-year mission of Captain Kirk. The story follows Jonathan Archer as he captains the United Earth ship Enterprise.
