She Shall Have Music is a British musical comedy film released in 1935, also known as Wherever She Goes, directed by Leslie S. Hiscott and starring Jack Hylton, June Clyde, and Claude Dampier. The film was written by Paul England, Arthur Macrae, H. Fowler Mear, and C. Denier Warren. The story follows millionaire shipbuilder Freddie Gates, who decides to publicize his ships by hiring Jack Hylton and his orchestra to broadcast from his yacht. Freddie's son, Brian Gates, has a low approval rating and a high dislike for jazz music, and he refuses to board the ship while the band is on board. To get him onto the yacht, his father enters a conspiracy with singer Dorothy Drew. Brian falls in love with Dorothy, but he calls off the romance after seeing her sing and dance with Hylton's band in Paris. In response, Dorothy induces three members of the band to shanghai Brian when the yacht sails.
