She is a 1935 adventure and fantasy film based on the story by H. Rider Haggard. The narrative follows Leo Vincey, who learns from his dying uncle about a lost land visited by an ancestor five centuries earlier. Accompanied by his family friend Horace Holly, Vincey sets out to locate this mysterious territory and uncover its secret of immortality, which is reportedly contained within a mystic fire. During their journey, the men travel to the frozen Russian arctic where they enlist the help of a guide's daughter named Tanya. The group eventually discovers Kor, a hidden civilization governed by an immortal queen known as She. Upon their arrival, the queen identifies Leo Vincey as the reincarnation of her long-lost lover, John Vincey, who was Leo's ancestor. The film features the story of a beautiful woman who lived for five hundred years after bathing in flame.
