Shark is an American legal drama television series created by Ian Biederman that aired on CBS from September 21, 2006, to May 20, 2008. The series stars James Woods as Sebastian Stark, a well-known Los Angeles attorney. The narrative follows Stark, a notorious defense attorney who becomes disillusioned with his career after successfully defending a wife-abuser, an action that results in the wife's death. After struggling with this event for over a month, Stark is invited by the Los Angeles district attorney to transition into the role of a public prosecutor. He accepts the position, choosing to apply his unorthodox and effective legal talents toward putting guilty individuals in prison rather than keeping them on the street. The show features a cast that includes Danielle Panabaker, Sophina Brown, and Sarah Carter. CBS cancelled the series on May 10, 2008, after the production of two seasons. The program is distinct from unrelated topics such as kitchen appliances or marine biology.
