Shaolin Popey is a 1994 Taiwanese kung fu comedy film directed by Kevin Chu. The film blends teen romantic comedy and martial arts slapstick. The story follows a high school loser who dreams of winning the heart of the principal's daughter, though his chances are slim as long as her bruiser boyfriend is around. Fortunately, a chance meeting with a pair of Shaolin-trained kids gives him the fighting skills needed to come out on top. These Shaolin-trained kids were previously seen in Dragon From Shaolin. The film was released in the Philippines as Little Shaolin. It features action, romance, and comedy elements.
