Overview
Seventeen Again is an American fantasy comedy television movie that first aired on November 12, 2000. The film follows the story of Cat and Gene, a couple who have been divorced for several years. While visiting their son and their grandchildren, Sydney and Willie, the pair finds their lives unexpectedly transformed. Willie, a young genius, develops a formula designed to make people young again. The substance inadvertently spills into soap that Willie places in his grandparents' room. After using the soap, Cat and Gene both find themselves seventeen years old again. As the plot progresses, Willie must work to find a way to reverse the process. This leaves the central characters to grapple with the consequences of their transformation and decide whether they truly wish to return to their original ages. The film was later released on DVD on April 9, 2002, and was included as a bonus feature on the Sister, Sister complete collection box set released in March 2016.
