Overview

Seraph of the End is a television series released in 2015. It is classified as animation, action and adventure, and science fiction and fantasy. The series is set in a world where a mysterious virus wipes out ninety percent of humanity, or ravages the global populace, leaving only children under the age of thirteen untouched. Following this event, vampires emerge from the recesses of the earth to enslave mankind, treating them like livestock. Twelve-year-old Yuichiro Hyakuya and his best friend Mikaela Hyakuya grow tired of donating blood in exchange for protection and plot an escape along with the other orphans. After being the only successful runaway, Yuichiro joins the Moon Demon Company, which is an extermination unit of the Japanese Imperial Demon Army dedicated to killing off vampires. The series is also associated with the title Owari no Seraph and features elements that have inspired collections of weapons, movie replicas, and accessories for fans, cosplayers, and collectors.
