Saber Rider and the Star Sheriffs is a science fiction television series set in the distant future. Humanity has colonized the stars, and Earth's Cavalry Command has developed a transforming battleship called the "Ramrod Equalizer Unit". This battleship is operated by the elite unit of special operatives known as the Star Sheriffs, who are tasked with defending the settlers of the galaxy. The Star Sheriffs face a significant threat in the form of the Outriders, a group of extra-dimensional beings who intend to conquer another dimension and enslave humanity. The Outriders possess superior technology and weaponry, making them a formidable foe.
