Roboshark 2015

Overview

Roboshark is a 2015 Bulgarian-Canadian television film also released as Robo Shark vs. Navy Seals. The film falls into the thriller, action, science fiction, and horror genres, and has a runtime of one hour and twenty-seven minutes. It was directed and co-written by Jeffery Scott Lando, with Phillip Roth serving as co-writer and co-producer.

The story begins on what starts off as a typical day on the streets of Seattle, which soon turns into a terrifying bloodbath. The plot follows a great white shark that devours an alien space probe, resulting in the creation of the title creature, Roboshark. As the United States military comes after the creature with guns blazing, it is ultimately the power of social media that puts an ambitious newscaster and her tech-savvy daughter ahead of everyone else in the race to stop the destruction.
