Ritas Welt is a German television sitcom that premiered on RTL. The show stars Gaby Köster and premiered on 17 September 1999. It is a comedy series that follows the life of a confident sales assistant, Rita Kruse, and her relationships with her boss, husband, and best friend. Rita's life is also portrayed through her interactions with her self-righteous boss, Achim Schuhmann, and her loving husband, Horst, and their two children, Sandra and Markus. Rita is supported by her wacky best friend Gisi Wiemers throughout the series. The show ran for five seasons, concluding on 19 December 2003.
