Ripe Town 2023

Overview

The television series "Ripe Town" is set in the Jiangnan County during the Wan Li Period of the Ming Dynasty. The story takes place in the 37th year of this period, where a series of murders occur in the county seat. The victims are individuals with different identities and no apparent connection to each other. At the scene of each crime, a sentence is left behind. The investigation into these murders is led by Xiaohu Kuaiqu Sanren, who is the apprentice of one of the victims. As the investigation unfolds, various individuals from different backgrounds, including those from the three religions and nine streams, as well as local farmers, workers, and merchants, become involved.
