S7·E1 How Poopy Got His Poop Back

Episode recap

Rick and Morty is an animated television series created by Dan Harmon and Justin Roiland that follows the fractured domestic lives and interdimensional misadventures of its central characters. The series features a cynical mad scientist named Rick Sanchez and his good-hearted but fretful grandson Morty Smith, as well as characters voiced by Chris Parnell, Spencer Grammer, Sarah Chalke, and Justin Roiland. Rick is a sociopathic genius scientist who drags his inherently timid grandson on adventures across the universe, splitting their time between domestic life and interdimensional adventures that take place across an infinite number of realities. They often travel to other planets and dimensions. In the episode titled How Poopy Got His Poop Back, Rick tries to help a friend get back on his feet. The series spans multiple seasons on Adult Swim, blending elements of animation, comedy, sci-fi, fantasy, and action and adventure. The overarching narrative centers on the scientific endeavors and family dynamics of the characters, where science makes sense, but family does not.
