Overview

As a child, Utena had an encounter with a prince who bestowed upon her a ring and a promise that it would lead her to him again. This encounter had a profound impact on Utena, who never forgot the prince's words. Now at Ohtori Academy, Utena's strong sense of chivalry places her at odds with the student council, leading to a series of duels against its members. The series was created by Yôji Enokido, Shin'ya Hasegawa, Kunihiko Ikuhara, Yûichirô Oguro, and Chiho Saitô. The show features the voice talents of Tomoko Kawakami, Yuriko Fuchizaki, Rachael Lillis, and Sharon Becker.
