Restoration is a drama film released in the United States on February 19, 2016, with a runtime of one hour and thirty-four minutes. The film follows a grief-stricken man who takes a job as a mechanic at a small auto repair shop. Through this employment, he soon becomes involved with a new ragtag family who need him every bit as much as he needs them. Additional records describe a 2016 Australian made-for-television science fiction thriller film of the same title directed by Stuart Willis, which premiered in Australia on 9Go! on August 6, 2016, and later screened on Stan beginning in November 2016 before being released as a DUSTx Original Series in September 2019. In that version of the concept, set in a near-future world where individuals have their memories downloaded for backup, a man awakes in a body that is not his own.
