Overview
Prison School is a 2015 Japanese television series that combines comedy, romance and youth elements. The show follows the first day of co‑education at Hachimitsu Private Academy, a formerly elite all‑girls boarding school on the outskirts of Tokyo that has recently opened its doors to male students. Kiyoshi Fujino discovers he is one of only five boys enrolled, and the newcomers quickly find themselves overwhelmed by the thousands of female classmates. The series depicts how the student council responds to the boys’ presence, placing them in a disciplinary area known as “the prison” after accusing them of peeping on the girls in the showers.
