"Prince Mackaroo" is a Japanese manga series created by Rin Inumaru. It was initially published by Shogakukan and serialized in Ciao in 1993. The manga was later republished by Shueisha and re-serialized in Saikyo Jump in 2011. The series was adapted into an anime series, produced by Gallop, which began broadcasting on NHK in October 1998. The anime series has become one of the longest-running anime programs on NHK, ranking second in terms of longevity, next to "Nintama Rantaro".
