Synopsis
An errand of Professor Oak's sets Ash on the road once again, but first he must face his old hometown rival, Gary, in a Pokémon battle.

An errand set by Professor Oak sends Ash out on the road once again. Before he can complete this task, however, Ash must first face his old hometown rival, Gary, in a Pokemon battle. This episode is part of the animated action, adventure, and sci-fi and fantasy television series Pokemon, which first aired in 1997. The series follows Ash, accompanied by his partner Pikachu, as he travels. The television series serves as an adaptation that presents a similar overarching story to the video game franchises it accompanies, while incorporating a variety of its own story detours.
