Overview

Passion of Love is a 1981 film set in the 1860s that follows the experiences of a young Italian soldier named Giorgio. After being stationed at a remote military post, Giorgio is separated from his lover, Clara. During his time at this new location, he resides in the home of the local colonel. Throughout his stay, Giorgio develops friendships with both the colonel and the local doctor. The household also includes a woman named Fosca, who is described as both mad and unattractive.
