Overview

No Hiding Place is a British television series that was produced at Wembley Studios by Associated-Rediffusion for the ITV network. The series was a sequel to the series Murder Bag and Crime Sheet. It starred Raymond Francis as Detective Superintendent, later Detective Chief Superintendent Tom Lockhart. The series was produced between 16 September 1959 and 22 June 1967. No Hiding Place featured a detective team that solved classic cases, with the detectives portrayed in a 1950s-style with elocution and authority. The show handled one crime and one criminal per case. The series had a run of several years, during which it developed a distinct style and approach to storytelling. Raymond Francis played the lead role throughout the series, and his character was a central part of the show. The series was broadcast on the ITV network, and it was produced by Associated-Rediffusion at Wembley Studios.
