Overview

Nevada is a 1997 drama film directed by Gary Tieche that centers on the arrival of a mysterious woman in a remote desert town. The story begins as a woman named Chrysty wanders through the desert with no possessions and no specific destination in mind. She eventually arrives in Silver City, a small town populated largely by women because many of the local men are away for work. The members of the town are intrigued by the arrival of the attractive stranger. As the women get to know her, they discover that Chrysty has left behind a husband and three children. The situation changes when a local woman named McGill contacts Chrysty’s husband, West, to inform him of his wife’s location. Consequently, West travels to the town to find her. The film features a cast that includes Amy Brenneman, Ben Browder, and James Wilder. The production has a runtime of one hour and forty-eight minutes and received an R rating. It was released in the United States on March 31, 1997.
