Murder Party is a crime, drama, and mystery film released in Germany on October 19, 1961, with a runtime of one hour and nineteen minutes. The plot centers on a character named Klaus, who murders women. After killing another girl, Klaus is spotted leaving his latest victim's house by his friend Kersten, who then gives him a ride. Because Kersten is a witness and the only person who can place Klaus at the scene, Klaus begins to plot his death. The two men decide to head to a party where Klaus's unhappy wife and a group of other people are present, making the task of killing Kersten difficult. While there, the attendees all play a game called murder party. Behind the scenes, the film's sets were designed by art directors Herbert Strabel and Rolf Zehetbauer, and the production was later featured at the 1962 Locarno Film Festival.
