Mr. Osomatsu is a Japanese adult-oriented comedy anime series produced by Studio Pierrot. It is based on Fujio Akatsuka's 1962 manga series Osomatsu-kun. The show centers on the absurd and humorous daily lives of the Matsuno sextuplets, who are now in their twenties and classified as NEETs—Not in Education, Employment, or Training. These six brothers, along with their eccentric friends, navigate modern-day life through a series of bizarre and comedic situations. The title "Mr." is used as a conventional courtesy title, reflecting the adult status of the characters in this reboot of the classic franchise.
