In the sixth episode of the second season of Modern Family, Claire prepares to spookify the Dunphy house for the trick or treaters during her favorite holiday. She assigns each family member a specific role to play, but nothing goes according to plan as the preparations unfold. Elsewhere in the family, Cameron continues to struggle with his intense hatred for the holiday, which stems from a traumatic childhood experience. Meanwhile, Mitchell endures a terrible day at work, and Gloria begins acting strangely after Jay and Manny tease her about her accent. The series follows the lives of three diverse and interrelated family setups living in suburban Los Angeles, featuring the Pritchett, Dunphy, and Tucker clan.
