Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans is a television series set in a post-disaster world 300 years after the Calamity War. The story takes place in the Earth Sphere and the Mars Sphere, where a new governing structure has been established. A private security company called Chryse Guard Security accepts a mission to escort a girl named Kudelia Aina Bernstein, who seeks to liberate the Martian city of Chryse from the rule of one of Earth's major powers. The military organization Gjallarhorn attacks Chryse Guard Security in order to prevent this rebellion. The series follows the exploits of a group of juvenile soldiers who establish their own security company after rebelling against the adults who govern them. The story revolves around the characters' struggles and conflicts in this new world. The series is part of the long-running Mobile Suit Gundam anime franchise.
