While Marinette tries to retrieve her diary from Chloé, Adrien's fencing teacher is akumatized into Darkblade, a villain who storms city hall.

In the twelfth episode of the first season of Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug and Cat Noir, titled Darkblade, the storyline follows Marinette as she attempts to retrieve her personal diary from Chloé. Meanwhile, Adrien's fencing teacher becomes the victim of akumatization and is transformed into the villain known as Darkblade. Following his transformation, Darkblade proceeds to storm city hall in Paris.
