Memory of a Killer is an American crime drama television series that premiered on Fox in 2026. The show was created by Ed Whitmore and Tracey Malone and is based on the 2003 Belgian film De Zaak Alzheimer and the 1985 novel of the same name. The series stars Patrick Dempsey as Angelo Doyle, a man leading two distinct lives: one as a feared hitman in New York City, and the other as a quiet photocopier salesman and devoted father in the small town of Cooperstown. His carefully maintained double life begins to unravel after he is diagnosed with early onset Alzheimer's disease, the same condition that claimed his older brother. As his mental clarity deteriorates, both of his identities come under threat, placing his family in increasing danger. The show explores themes of memory, identity, and the consequences of a hidden past. It also features performances by Richard Harmon, Odeya Rush, and Peter Gadiot.
