Mega Man Star Force: Season 1

Season overview

Set in the year 22XX, the narrative follows a fifth-grade student named Subaru Hoshikawa, also known as Geo Stelar, who is struggling with the loss of his father. His father was aboard a space satellite launched by the JAXA space science lab to establish contact with extraterrestrial life, but the mission ended in disaster when the satellite was destroyed under mysterious circumstances. Following this tragedy, Subaru becomes withdrawn and fearful of social interaction. His life changes when he receives a device invented by his father called a Visualizer. This technology grants him the ability to perceive radio-wave-based aliens that threaten the safety of the world. To combat these hostile forces, Subaru forms an alliance with an alien entity known as Omega-Xis, also referred to as War-Rock. Together, they transform into the hero Mega Man, also known as Rockman, to protect the Earth from destruction. The series explores themes of friendship, technology, and heroism as Subaru navigates his grief while assuming the responsibility of defending the planet from extraterrestrial threats that remain hidden from the general population.
