Overview

Malory Towers is a historical drama television series based on the book series by Enid Blyton. The show, which began in 1947, is a co-production between King Bert Productions in the United Kingdom and WildBrain in Canada. Set in post-war Britain, the narrative follows the adventures of Darrell Rivers as she leaves home for the first time to attend an all-girls boarding school located on the cliffs of the Cornish coast. The series features Ella Bright, Danya Griver, Beau Bradfield, and Imogen Lamb. As the students navigate life at the school, the plot explores a nostalgic world characterized by midnight feasts, lacrosse, and pranks. The characters also deal with historical mysteries, a ghost, and the challenge of facing formidable foes while forming lasting friendships. Later in the series, the story expands to include the experiences of Darrells sister, Felicity, as she and her friends attend the institution.
