Overview

The television series Lost in Space is a science fiction family franchise that was created and produced by Irwin Allen. The series was filmed by 20th Century Fox Television and broadcast on CBS. It is centered around a space colony family and their struggles to survive in space. The family's spaceship, Jupiter II, carries a friendly robot who is a trusted companion of young Will Robinson. The robot also endures an endless stream of abuse from Dr. Zachary Smith, an inept stowaway who sabotages the voyage time and again. The series consists of 83 episodes across 3 seasons.
