Little Red Riding Wolf 2023

Overview

Little Red Riding Wolf is a 2023 Spanish-Peruvian comedy film released on April 5, 2023. Also known by its Spanish title De Caperucita a loba, which translates literally from Little Red Riding Hood to Wolf, the feature was directed by Chus Gutiérrez. The screenplay was written by Marta González de Vega, who also starred in the film. The movie is based on the book and play of the same name by González de Vega. The story centers on a protagonist named Marta and follows a narrative showing that people are all pathetic in love, demonstrating that learning to laugh at it automatically turns drama into comedy. The conversion process takes Marta several years and several uncles from when she decides to become a wolf until she achieves it, learning that laughter is not reached by avoiding the forest. A wolf is described as a little hood that has learned to laugh at herself, which is considered the greatest superpower because converting experiences to humor leaves nothing that can harm us.
