Late Night with David Letterman is an American television comedy talk show that was broadcast by NBC. Created and hosted by David Letterman, the program served as the first installment of the Late Night franchise. Following the conclusion of the series, David Letterman moved to host the Late Show on CBS. Later, the slot was filled by Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, and it was scheduled to be filled by Seth Meyers in the spring of 2014 after Fallon became the host of The Tonight Show.
