Overview
Las Vegas is an American comedy-drama television series created by Gary Scott Thompson. The program premiered on NBC on September 22, 2003, and concluded its five-season run on February 15, 2008. Set at the Montecito Resort and Casino, the show features a surveillance team that monitors the activities of guests within the establishment. The narrative centers on Ed Deline, a strict former CIA officer who transitions from his role as Head of Security to President of Operations, where he manages the daily functions of the casino. The cast includes Josh Duhamel, James Caan, James Lesure, and Vanessa Marcil. Following the departure of Ed Deline, the story follows his former protégé, a former Marine named Danny McCoy, as he assumes the position of President of Operations at the Montecito.
