Overview

The film "La sombra del ángel" takes place in an undetermined space and time. It begins with the protagonist, Ella, awakening bloodied and wounded in a swamp near an abandoned convent. As she navigates her new environment, Ella discovers her own identity and begins to uncover the circumstances surrounding her presence there. A young composer was previously murdered in the convent, and Ella learns that she must find and complete the scores of the composer's unfinished work. This mission is guided by a mysterious little girl. Through her journey, Ella encounters her own "shadow": a dark counterpart that is a doppelganger of herself. The story explores Ella's discovery of her own identity and the mysterious forces at work in her new surroundings.
