Peter enjoys a reunion with old friends, Kurt and Judy Milford. Peter, who used to date Judy, invites the couple to dinner, but Kurt bows out. When Judy returns from the dinner, Kurt drunkenly accuses her of cheating and beats her. The next morning, Kurt apologizes to Judy; however, he mercilessly rapes her that night. Judy shops for a gun, while Kurt tells Peter that his wife has a drinking problem. In their suite, Judy waits for her husband, pistol in hand. Peter sees her with the gun and tries to reason with her. When Kurt enters and lunges at Judy, she shoots Kurt in the shoulder. Receptionist Megan and bellman Dave are having troubles, too.
