Following a sold-out Los Angeles try-out, the production moved Off-Broadway in 2014 with US producers including J. Todd Harris, Amy Powers, and RJ Hendricks. A live capture of the West End stage show was released as a special on Roku. The release, titled Heathers: The Musical, premiered in the United States on September 16, 2022.
