Harry O is a television series that premiered in 1974. The program features David Janssen in the lead role and was executive produced by Jerry Thorpe. The narrative follows the life of Harry Orwell, a man who previously served as an officer with the San Diego Police Department. Following an incident where he was shot while performing his official duties, Orwell was forced to retire from the police force. In order to supplement his existing police pension, Orwell establishes a private detective agency. He operates this business out of his beach house.
