Future Card Buddyfight is a Japanese television series set in the year 2030. The series takes place in Chou-Tokyo, the capital of Japan, where humans engage in cultural interactions with residents from other worlds called "Affinity Dimensions". This cultural exchange is facilitated through a game called "Buddyfight", where selected humans, known as "Buddyfighters", partner with residents from other worlds, referred to as "Buddy Monsters".
