Fellowship of the Frog is a 1959 crime, thriller, and mystery film directed by Harald Reinl. The narrative follows both Scotland Yard and an amateur American sleuth as they attempt to track down a master criminal identified as The Frog. This villain is known for wearing a bulging-eyed mask, and his henchmen are marked by frog icons painfully tattooed onto their forearms. The investigation leads the pursuers to the country manor of an enigmatic, steely-eyed nabob. Within the household, the man's repressed son develops an interest in the artistes at the Lolita cabaret, while his daughter attracts the attention of both the American playboy and the criminal himself. As the plot unfolds, the search for the elusive antagonist results in a series of events involving murder, kidnapping, and seduction. The film has a runtime of one hour and twenty-nine minutes and was released in Denmark on April 4, 1960. It is also known by the title Der Frosch mit der Maske and is listed on some platforms as Face of the Frog.
